Raymond Island can boast many koalas - but not the biggest koala!
The 14m high Giant Koala was completed in 1988 at Dadswells Bridge near Stawell in Western Victoria. It was created in cold cast bronze and fibreglass by internationally known sculptor Ben Van Zetten.
Sadly, few koalas are left in the Grampians area - their population being decimated by disease and bushfires.
