Kay Mooney found a Fruit Bat on the roadside just up from the IGA and after the last terrific winds. It appears, however, that the little didn't succumb to the wind but rather was the caught in the act of raiding a small peach tree
and when it electrocuted itself on overhead power lines. It was quite
beautiful and unmarked.
