As well as our News page, where full articles are listed and archived over the year, take a look at our new Home page and you'll find: live weather reports and weekly rainfall; calendar and news headlines and links to: our full Diary; an interactive map of the Island; our monthly photographic gallery and our new weekly Fishing report.
Our Community and Insider pages are geared for Islanders. On the Community page, you're linked into RICA, Landcare and the activity groups at the Community Hall, as well as housing archives of Raymond Island Matters, photographs of Island events, and favourite songs and videos from early days of the web site. (My favourites are the 'Maggie and Muggins' video clips!) Our Insider started last year and is getting busy with our weekly quiz and new features that will come on line over the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye out for this year's competitions - they have terrific prizes!
Exchange was another page that started quietly last year but is one that should grow during 2016. It's our local 'buy, swap and sell' listing for goods and services on the Island. Listing is a free for service and is limited to Islanders.
Our Island has information about the Island that provides a welcome for visitors and has facts and figures about Islander life. We're working on improving information, photographic galleries and histories of our Koalas and the Ferry. There's information to help prepare for Emergencies. And, best of all, it's easier to find your way around with a simple navigation bar at the top of each page and a 'breadcrumb' trail to follow.
